Court Garden Hotel

Court Garden Hotel is the first eco-designed hotel in the Netherlands. This hotel is located in Den Haag, with a lot of authentic shops, friendly restaurants and cosy cafés. The hotel has 70 rooms and the most are below €100,- (per night).

The rooms are fully isolated which keep out cold, heat and noise. As a result, the Hotel Court Garden offers a natural, pleasant temperature all year round and all rooms are soundproofed. Green energy is also used throughout the hotel. Energy-saving light bulbs are used everywhere. Movement and light sensors help prevent unnecessary energy consumption. Among other things, energy is saved by means of a key card that switches everything off as soon as the guest leaves the room. And they work with 100% organic or fair trade products. For this, they have received the 100% EKO-catering industry certificate.


Bastion Hotels


Bastion Hotels has a strong interest in a healthy, vital, sustainable and livable environment. They have different locations in the Netherlands, including one in the harbour city Rotterdam! Rotterdam is a multicultural and very hip city that has a lot to offer.

To identify themself as a sustainability hotel they work with different green options. One is water management, they reduce their water usage and less possible polluting their water. Then they have energy management, they reduce energy consumption variety of useful ways. For example, using light sensors. And they try to separate our waste as sustainably as possible.

This hotel is one of the pioneers in eco-friendly tourism in the Netherlands. They do it differently by combining stylish design and playfulness with sustainability, calling it Eco-Sexy. From small notes in the rooms that tell guests about the recycled furniture and water-saving showers to every bite and drink that are served being fully organic. They have four different locations in Amsterdam, the capital city of the Netherlands and of course famous for its looks and stories.

Their energy comes from Pure Energie and is generated only from Dutch windmills. They also using water-saving showerheads that pump air through the nozzles with the water. Using these methods, we save 35% of shower water and 50% of water in the washbasins. And they work with local suppliers, selecting only organic products. From the bread, eggs and juices of the breakfast buffet to the vegetables and liquors in our restaurants.
